R I P Casper

24 may 2004-13 jul 2012
I know this is a food blog......but this little boy has been a part and parcel of my posts.....an all important part of my life.He died on the 13th of July(Friday the 13th).He died of DKA caused due to diabetes,which resulted in multiple organ failure.
The start of his ill health,the detection of the diabetes and his death was a period of 13 days.
I thank you all for the lovely comments that used to be for him and thank you for the advice,for all those friends who have been such a pillar of strength to me........thank you....






God bless his soul.

    Poor little Casper!! I love pets and am so sorry for him..I know they are a part of life!! How old was he??

    Oh that is so sad..I hope he didnt have to suffer too much Simran...my heart goes out to you. When you shared about his diabetes in your post I even discussed about Casper at home and we were saying how tough it must be for both him and his family.Everyone at my home is a dog lover and I feel so bad for you

    So sorry about your loss. It is hard when you get close to a pet. Unfortunately diabetes is so common in dogs and cats.

    Oh, that's very sad...how did he get diabetes? I know, when we have pets, we get so attached to them...and the love which we get from them is undiluted and unselfish. I admire this bonding and may God bless his soul.
